FIBER OPTIC ROD gives the shooter a glowing “dot” that shows up well in dim light.
Constructed of steel, if a fiber rod is broken or lost, you still have a functional front sight. Fibers are easily replaced if damaged. (email or call us for replacement fiber rods)
These sights cannot be changed in height, so it is important that you know the correct height for your rifle/load/shooter combination. This will only be determined by shooting your rifle with the Skinner Rear sight in place (on paper) BEFORE ordering this sight.
These sights fit nominal 3/8″ dovetails and have 3/8″ wide bases.
(.570″ sight has a 3/8″ dovetail and a 1/2″ wide base).
