I have a few biases. One is Picatinny mounts on a lever gun, the other is the use of aluminum for gun parts, including sights and mounts. (We compromise on Picatinny rails due to weight.) I’m pretty sure John Wayne wouldn’t have used either on his rifle!
Consequently, we offer a SOLID STEEL or STAINLESS STEEL (machined from Bar stock) ELEGANT, RUGGED, ATTRACTIVE Scope Mount with our “EXPRESS” aperture sight built in.
Ships with a .096″ Aperture installed. Accepts all 5 Skinner Aperture sizes.
Windage and Elevation adjustable, mounting screws and wrenches included.
This sight is the same height as our ALASKAN and EXPRESS sights and accepts Talley and Warne 7.3 RIMFIRE rings. (Available from Brownell’s) The Warne Rimfire rings are made of good steel and my testing shows them to hold up under Pistol Cartridge recoil.
This mount uses medium height Talley Quick Detach Rings (available in Accessories).
