THIS IS THE SIGHT FOR THE HENRY PISTOL CALIBER BIG BOY RIFLES.
Fits Pistol Cartridge versions of the Henry BIG BOY rifles. Carbines, Mares Legs, Rifles, Big Loops, Side Gates, Brass Frame, Steel Frame, Case Colored and All Weather.
NOTE: MOST BIG BOY rifles are PISTOL CALIBERS. 32, 357, 41, 44, and 45.
(In 2026, Henry re-designated the BRASS FRAMED larger rifle cartridge guns as Big Boys also. FOR THE 45-70 / 38-55 / 35 Rem / 360 Buck Hammer and 30-30, please see our Marlin 1895/336 sights and rails. The Large Frame Marlin sights will fit the Large Frame Henry’s)
Front Sight selection is always best made after installing the rear sight and shooting on paper at a known distance. Customers report about 50% success using the factory front sight.
Mounting Screws / Wrenches / and Instructions are included.
Sight is designed to fit the factory drilled and tapped holes.
Ships with a .096 Aperture installed. Will accept any of our 5 sizes of apertures.
If we are asked, we will “suggest” our 1/2″x.650″ Patridge or Guide Blade front (and trim to exact height as needed) or our .570″ tall Fiber Optic front sight. These are just suggestions. Please see our FAQ page for more information. It is our understanding that some of the Henry Big Boy Steel frame models have a .570″ factory front sight. For those rifles, if a taller sight is needed our .650″ tall Patridge blade would be our “suggestion”.
